northmorrcell.jpg Several Lake Forest residents are canvassing the City’s southeastern neighborhoods this week to raise awareness about a cell phone tower that City leaders are considering for the northeast corner of Westleigh Road and Western Avenue. The group is concerned the upcoming auction of Barat Woods will push Plan Commissioners and City Council members to make a decision about revising Lake Forest’s wireless overlay district so that a tower of 160 to 190 feet can be built on City-owned property rather than at the Barat campus nearby.

As some of you may have noticed this website went down last fall after a hard drive crash and remained down throughout the winter.

Shortly after receiving the email about the South Park tennis courts, Neva GaNun, contacted me about getting the site back up. After reading all of the subsequent emails (which were fantastic), I agreed and here it is.

It is hoped this website will serve as a new forum for public discourse not only Northmoor neighbors but for all Lake Forest residents.
